#BTCHashratePeak The computing power of Bitcoin rose nearly to its peak value on June 13 at 946 exahashes per second (EH/s), approaching it with a value of 945 EH/s on Sunday morning.
As of 10 AM Eastern Time on Sunday, July 27, the Bitcoin hash rate is 942.96 exahashes per second (EH/s) — just a little over 3 EH/s from the all-time high. This elevated level can be attributed to more stable and attractive mining profits over the past month.
The Bitcoin hash rate is approaching record levels as miners near the June peak.
The price of Bitcoin hash has risen from about $54 per petahash per second (PH/s) as of June 27 to a monthly peak close to $64 PH/s by July 10 — a remarkable increase for the month. However, this growth did not last long. Following the surge, there was a drop and several moderate fluctuations between $58 and $62 PH/s.
Since mid-July, the hash price has mostly stabilized, drifting slightly below $60 PH/s with only minor turbulence. Blocks are now being mined faster than the standard 10-minute target, averaging 9 minutes and 44 seconds. If this rapid pace remains steady, a difficulty increase is likely on August 8.
