ETH has already surpassed 4300, have you all become rich?
Looking at ETH breaking through 4300 again, I suddenly think of my early days in the crypto world.
Back when I first bought Ethereum, the price was just over 800. I bought two, thinking I would hold them long-term, but when it rose to 900, I sold them and proudly boasted to my friends, "Bro, look how accurate my investment vision is!"
Later, ETH skyrocketed to 1000, 2000, 3000... Each time I told myself: wait for a pullback to buy back in. Instead, the price doubled, then doubled again.
What I remember most vividly is last year when ETH surged to 3800, and I didn't have a single one in my hands.
Someone in my friend circle posted a profit screenshot, with all positions in ETH, showing a +300% return. I looked at the screen, feeling more down than on the day of the market crash.
This year ETH is back to 4300+, and many people ask me: "Should we get in this time?"
I just smiled. The crypto world is not black and white; sometimes, the biggest regret is not missing an opportunity, but selling the gold you once held in your hands.
I have three types of people around me:
The old hodlers who hold on tightly
They bought in early and don’t budge even when the price is halved; today they sit here laughing at the market situation.
The swing traders
They buy low and sell high, repeatedly making profits. Unfortunately, once they miss a trend, they might miss the whole wave.
The retail investors who chase highs and sell lows
They fear missing out when the price rises and fear further drops when it falls, resulting in always buying at the highest point and selling at the lowest.
Unfortunately, I have been the third type for the past few years.
But this time, I learned not to gamble with the market's ups and downs. I hold a position that I can be at ease with; if it drops, I can endure it; if it rises, I can smile, without greed, resentment, or regret.
ETH has gone from hundreds to thousands, creating countless wealth myths, but also leaving more "if only I had known."
If you have become rich, remember to secure your gains; if you haven't, don't rush. The market will always provide opportunities, but not everyone can wait.
