Shiba Inu (SHIB) is going through a crucial period in its decentralization, with community leaders expressing their opinions. SHIB has revealed the next part of its development cycle, supporting the idea that the token 'cannot be controlled or tamed.' This new milestone for the SHIB army may drive the project's long-term goal.

As SHIB's senior developer, Kaal Dhairya reiterates the project's promise of decentralization, the Shiba Inu ecosystem is about to undergo a major shift. Dhairya stated on social media X that SHIB was founded on shared governance and collaborative vision and should never be controlled by a single person.

Performance

He characterized the Shiba Inu ecosystem as a network of tokens and systems that reinforce and complement each other. Just like the world of Star Wars, Dhairya said that every aspect, including SHIB, BONE, TREAT, LEASH, and future ideas, adds complexity, history, and limitless possibilities to the expanding ecosystem.

Dhairya called the community-led elections a first step towards decentralization as Shiba Inu enters its 5th year. He hopes that creative suggestions like 'ShibWater' and other Shiba Inu-branded ventures will emerge from this new governance period.

He said shortly after lead developer Shytoshi Kusama stated that elections could help the ecosystem achieve its long-term decentralization goal. Kusama's statement and Dhairya's assertion mark a new era for SHIB, where community votes determine leadership rather than centralized decisions.

Concerns About Whale Influence and Fairness of SHIB Voting

A SHIB community member and advocate known as 'Crypto Queen' addressed a potential issue in the governance system following Dhairya's comments. She warned that Whales, large token holders, may dominate the ecosystem.
