Rumble plans to spend nearly $1.2 billion to acquire the German AI cloud company Northern Data
According to reports, American video platform and cloud service provider Rumble is planning to acquire the German artificial intelligence cloud computing group Northern Data for approximately $1.17 billion. Rumble stated that if the deal is completed, it will take control of Northern Data's cloud computing business Taiga and its large data center division Ardent, planning to integrate them into its own operations. It is estimated that the potential total value of this deal is about $1.17 billion. Northern Data stated that its board is evaluating Rumble's potential acquisition offer and is willing to engage in further discussions. Additionally, the stablecoin platform Tether, as a major shareholder of Northern Data, has expressed support for this transaction.
