How to roll the account with 1000U? Don't guess blindly, follow the steps!
Every day someone asks: 'How to roll the account? Are there specific steps?'
Today’s insight: rolling the account is never about heavy betting for life, chasing high hits every day, but rather about gradually rolling it out with 'rhythm + position control + execution'.
Taking 1000U as an example, follow these steps:
Step 1: Manage the starting position well, prioritize survival
Initial position size within 500U (below 50%), and for the first few trades, even just use 200-300U to 'explore'.
The core goal for small accounts in the early stage: survive, avoid liquidation, and keep drawdown under 20%. If you can't maintain the account, how can you discuss rolling it?
Step 2: Only seize opportunities you understand
What does 'understand' mean?
• Clear support/resistance zones
• Align with the major trend direction
• Controlled stop-loss, profit-loss ratio at least 2:1
The initial goal is simple: take one trade, make one trade, and proceed steadily.
Step 3: Set stop-losses in advance, never hesitate
Control the maximum loss per trade within 5%-7% of the account.
For a 1000U account, do not exceed a single stop-loss of 50-70U.
Think it's conservative? First, think clearly: do you want to gamble once and leave, or do you want to grow the account to 5000U, 10,000U?
Step 4: Don't be greedy on profits, take them when you see them
• Small fluctuations: take profits at 30-50 points
• Large fluctuations: 80-150 points is enough
• Medium-term trades: exit when the profit-loss ratio is above 3:1
Step 5: After doubling the account, gradually increase the position size to accelerate
Upon reaching 3000U (doubling), the single position can be raised to 800-1000U, while keeping the risk to 3%-5% of the account, with a stage drawdown not exceeding 15%.
The logic is simple: survive with small funds, accelerate with medium funds, protect profits and control drawdowns with large funds.
Step 6: After each doubling, secure profits first
For example, roll from 1000U to 3000U, first withdraw 500U.
Even if the account experiences drawdown, stay mentally stable—surviving means you qualify to continue rolling the account.
