& Putin to Meet in Alaska for Ukraine Peace Talks ๐ค๐๏ธ
A major diplomatic moment is set for August 15 โ U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Alaska to discuss ending the war in Ukraine.
๐บ๐ธ๐ท๐บ According to Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov, talks will focus on a long-term peaceful resolution to the conflict, now in its 3.5th year.
Trump hinted earlier that both sides, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, are close to a ceasefire deal โ one that may involve territorial exchanges.
๐ฃ๏ธ โThereโll be some swapping of territories to the betterment of both,โ Trump told reporters.
If successful, this could mark the biggest breakthrough in the Ukraine war since it began.
