in market now, big players are here pro traders, whales, and patient people who buying slowly. retail traders? they still outside, just watching. but when ETH go near all time high, and if interest rate go down, they will come back fast.
first step for retail is always Bitcoin. they see it on news like CNBC, they think it is safe and easy. most of first money go in BTC around 35% of their focus.
then they see Bitcoin price high, they feel “too late”, so they move to Ethereum. this is second big name, more easy to understand than other chains. it gets around 30% attention.
after that, they go to coins they hear in headlines Solana (fast, popular) and XRP (old retail favourite). together they take around 25% of money.
last part, only 10% money goes in other altcoins high risk and new projects like SUI, LINK, TAO, FET, INJ. this step is slow, many retail people never reach this stage.
so remember big pumps start with BTC, then ETH, then popular alts, and finally small gems.
