Sasha Stiles will bring AI poetry to MoMA's autumn exhibition.
Poet and AI researcher Sasha Stiles will attend the upcoming exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The exhibition titled 'A LIVING POEM' showcases an infinite, self-generating text created by the artist using AI 'Technelegy', displayed on the digital screen in the Agnes Gund Garden Hall of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, rewritten every hour using a custom algorithm, datasets, and a font that combines binary code with the artist's handwriting.
Stiles’ work explores identity, authorship, and the future of communication. She uses machine learning tools not to mimic human writing but to probe the meaning of language. Her debut at the Museum of Modern Art in New York marks a shift toward a more significant presence of literary art in the realms of digital and conceptual art.
