The bulls even broke through the resistance at $3,850. Finally, the price tested the resistance at $3,920. The price reached a high of $3,927,$ and consolidates gains above the 23.6% retracement line of the rise from the swing low of $3,544,$ to the peak.
Ethereum is above $3,800,$ and the 100-hour SMA. The hourly ETH/USD chart shows an upward trend line with support at $3,820.
The price could encounter resistance at $3,920,$ on the upside. Around $3,950,$ is the next major resistance. Near $4,000,$ is the first significant resistance. A decisive break above $4,000,$ could push the price above $4,220.
Above the $4,220 barrier, this could lead to greater advancements in the coming sessions. Ether could soar towards $4,350,$ or $4,500,$ in the near future.
Are ETH declines limited?
Ethereum could still drop if it fails to break through $3,920. At $3,820, the downward support begins. The first significant support is around $3,800.
A decisive break below $3,800,$ could bring the market back around $3,735. If losses continue, the price could reach support at $3,680. The next important support is at $3,650.
