📈 Metaplanet aims to expand its Bitcoin empire
The Japanese company Metaplanet is increasing its Bitcoin holdings — they currently have 15,555 BTC and aim to raise this figure to 210,000 BTC by 2027. To achieve this, they have already spent $237 million on 2,204 BTC. The second phase of the strategy involves using BTC as collateral to purchase profitable assets, including digital banks in Japan. This is a risky move as price fluctuations can lead to serious consequences.
