The Shiba Inu community has expressed its discontent with the leadership of Shytoshi Kusama. WoofSwap and other SHIB participants have publicly voiced their concerns. WoofSwap questioned Kusama's abilities in a series of posts on X. These members believe that the project needs a leader with greater strategic capability, better communication skills, and the ability to respond to community feedback.
"I do not care about leaders who benefit or seek to make more money; I oppose those who lack capability and only try to bleed the community dry," they stated. "So, for those running in these elections, it is not necessary to be a saint, but absolutely competent. We do not need an incompetent president."
They also pointed out Kusama's involvement in projects like SHY and Kaal Dhairya's POE. They wonder if these parallel initiatives benefit the ecosystem or if they are merely selfish distractions.
Beyond leadership capability, honesty and transparency have become crucial issues. Many current leaders, including Kusama, are criticized for their lack of accountability. One user highlighted the hypocrisy of praising those who have failed decentralized tokens and applications while ignoring those who could bring long-term value to the community.
Another prominent voice, Shiba Germany, urged Kusama and other key figures to fulfill their previous promises. They mentioned the goal of onboarding one billion users, activating 100 validators, and supporting projects like BONE, which seem to have been abandoned. "Stay true to Ryoshi's vision," they urged, reflecting their longing for the original ideals of the ecosystem.
This comes after WoofSwap launched accusations of favoritism against Kusama and Kaal Dhairya. They criticized his backing of the POE token, disregarding other legitimate projects in Shibarium.
