Recently discovered a神器, must share with you guys!
To be honest, when my friend first recommended WalletConnect to me, I was a bit confused and thought: "Isn't this just a scanning tool? What's so great about it?" But after using it for two days... it’s amazing! Now I can't live without it!
Have you ever had this experience:
- Want to play a new chain game, but it takes half an hour just to set up the wallet
- Fumbling around copying addresses during transactions
- Having to reauthorize every time you switch DApps, which is so annoying
WalletConnect is simply a lifesaver! The operation is incredibly simple:
1. Open the DApp and click "Connect Wallet"
2. Choose WalletConnect
3. Scan with your wallet
Done! It's even simpler than logging in with WeChat!
What reassures me the most is its security:
- Fully encrypted, no fear of being targeted by hackers
- No need to fill in recovery phrases everywhere
- Private keys are always in your own hands
Now basically all mainstream wallets and DApps support it, and here are the scenarios where I find it the most enjoyable:
1. Quickly switch exchanges when trading
2. Play games without having to log in repeatedly
3. Buying NFTs is super smooth
However, I want to remind you of a few points:
1. Make sure to download the official version from the website
2. Don't scan unknown codes randomly
3. Remember to manually disconnect after use
To be honest, after using this, I finally feel like blockchain applications are like normal apps. The previous inhuman operations were simply discouraging for newcomers. I recommend you all to give it a try, it will definitely open the door to a new world.
