UK Crypto Market Open to Retail Investors – New ETN Regulations

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has lifted the ban on retail investor access to crypto Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs). Starting October 8, 2025, retail investors will be able to access ETNs for Bitcoin and Ethereum through the London Stock Exchange—considered a significant moment akin to the 'Big Bang' reforms of 1986.
