The American president, Donald Trump, raised tariffs on dozens of countries this Thursday to establish his new global trade order in which customs duties become a weapon of economic policy.
His goal: to restructure trade "for the benefit of American workers".
"!!!IT'S MIDNIGHT!!! BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN TARIFFS ARE FLOWING INTO THE UNITED STATES NOW!", Trump wrote in capital letters on his Truth Social platform.
