PI NETWORK INVESTS 20 MILLION DOLLARS IN HUMANOID ROBOTS
Pi Network participated in a funding round of 20 million dollars organized by OpenMind, an AI robotics startup focused on building decentralized systems for humanoid machines.
The round also included participation from Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Ribbit Capital, and Sequoia China.
This investment marks Pi Network's first major move after the announcement in May of its 100 million dollar venture capital initiative aimed at funding projects with real utility.
The partnership with OpenMind reflects Pi's goal of becoming a key player in AI-driven automation and decentralized machine intelligence. The decision also indicates a structural choice by the Pi ecosystem to become an active investor in new technologies.
