The Cost of FOMO, I Learned the Hard Way
Not long ago, I saw a coin pumping like crazy. Everyone was talking about it on my timeline, in groups, everywhere. I felt like I was missing out.
So I jumped in, thinking, "This might be my moment."
Guess whatâď¸
Two days later, it crashed.
My small profit turned into a painful loss. I felt stupid. But more than that, I realized something deep:
FOMO is expensive. Emotion is dangerous.
I didn't enter with a plan. I entered out of fear the fear that I was being left behind. But crypto doesn't reward fear. It rewards patience, strategy, and emotional control.
Here's what I learned and I hope it helps someone reading this:
âĄď¸Not every pump is your pump.
âĄď¸If you missed it, it's okay. The market will always give new chances.
âĄď¸When you chase blindly, you bleed silently.
Now I move differently:
I wait for setups.
I research before I rush.
â I don't care about noise I care about value.
You don't have to win every time. But you must learn every time.
So if you're feeling FOMO right now, take a deep breath.
Don't rush into something just because others are cheering.
Your capital deserves better than impulse.
