Despite being the most sanctioned country in the world, Russia is still supplying funds for the Ukraine war through its vast energy resources.

However, US President Donald Trump wants to change this situation. He has announced that without a ceasefire with Ukraine, a 'secondary tariff' will be imposed on any country doing business with Russia starting from Friday, August 8.

According to this tariff, any products imported into the United States from countries that continue to do business with Russia will be subjected to a 100% tax.

Russia's main export products are oil and gas. Major buyers in Moscow include China, India, and Turkey.

Trump recently stated, "I have used trade for many things, but this is the most effective way to stop the war."
