CoinVoice has recently learned that SBI Holdings, a Japanese financial services company, has submitted applications for two cryptocurrency-related exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to the Financial Services Agency (FSA) of Japan, according to BeInCrypto.

The first fund is a crypto asset ETF that will directly invest in XRP and Bitcoin, providing investors with pure exposure to crypto assets. The second fund is a digital gold crypto ETF, combining gold-backed securities with digital currencies, with over 50% of the funds allocated to gold ETFs, aiming to balance the growth potential of crypto assets with the stability of gold.

If approved, these two ETFs are planned to be listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This move reflects SBI's long-term confidence in XRP and Bitcoin and may drive institutional adoption and regulatory recognition of crypto assets in Japan.
