Japanโs Economic Minister Ryoichi Akazawa is in Washington, asking the U.S. to quickly act on a deal made with President Trump to lower car and auto parts tariffs from 25% to 15%.
In return, Japan agreed to invest more in the U.S. economy. But even though both sides shook hands on the deal two weeks ago, thereโs still no clear date on when the lower tariffs will start.
