TOWNS explodes on Binance, price reaches 0.075 USD

Towns Protocol, a decentralized communication infrastructure project, officially listed the TOWNS token on Binance at 21:30 on August 5th. According to data from Binance, the starting price of TOWNS was 0.0246 USD, increasing over 68% to 0.04144 USD. The peak price on Binance was 0.075 USD.

According to Coinmarket, Binance Alpha recorded a price of 0.071 USD after listing and airdrop to the community. The market capitalization reached 95.97 million USD, with a total supply of 10.12 billion tokens, of which 2.1 billion TOWNS are in circulation.

Towns Protocol will launch a Points Farming program starting in 2024, allocating 57% of the total supply to the community, aiming for sustainable development.

After the listing, Binance will implement the TOWNS Trading Challenge from 20:30 on August 5th to 20:30 on August 19th. Total rewards are 35,000,000 TOWNS:

Promotion A (new users): deposit a minimum of 100 USD (USDT/TOWNS), receive random rewards of 75–400 TOWNS, limited to 26,250 participants. Promotion B (all users): trade a minimum of 200 USD in TOWNS pairs, receive similar rewards, limited to 26,250 participants. Promotion C (volume tournament): trade from 500 USD, share a reward pool of 8,000,000–24,500,000 TOWNS, limited to 70,000 TOWNS per person.

The TOWNS token, deployed on Ethereum and Base, is the core of the Towns ecosystem, serving three main roles:

Network security: using a Proof-of-Stake mechanism to ensure safety and efficiency. Feature activation: supporting functions such as creating Spaces, governance, and staking. Governance empowerment: allowing holders to participate in the decision-making of protocol development.
