Tether CEO: USDt accounts for 40% of blockchain transaction fees

According to HashKey News, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that approximately 40% of the blockchain transaction fees generated by nine major public chains (including ETH, Tron, TON, Solana, BSC, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Polygon, and Optimism) are used to pay for USDt transfers. A large number of users in emerging markets use USDt daily for currency hedging. In the future, if USDt can be used on chains that support lower gas fees, these chains will have a competitive advantage.
