Solana Mobile begins global rollout of Seeker phones, reaching over 50 countries.

Priced at $450, the Seeker is the Saga successor with enhanced Web3 features.

Each device includes a Genesis Token, offering early app access and SKR token perks.

Seeker Smartphone Rolls Out Globally

On August 4, 2025, Solana Mobile officially announced the global launch of their second-generation Seeker crypto smartphone, the company made a press release. Tens of thousands of units are being delivered to customers across more than 50 countries worldwide, thus establishing Solana’s significant progress in incorporating Web3 features into everyday mobile devices

The Seeker, with a price of $450, is the successor to last year’s Saga, and it comes loaded with several blockchain-native features. These are, for example, Seed Vault for secure key storage, a native Solana dApp Store, and a Genesis Token, the latter being created on-chain and giving the possibility to be first to try out decentralized applications and the SKR-token as the reward.

New Hardware, New Strategy for Web3 Adoption

The Seeker is a demonstration of Solana Mobile’s desire to create a smartphone ecosystem that is mainly for the crypto community. By having over 100 dApps listed in the Solana dApp Store, covering DeFi, gaming, payments, and more, the company is setting itself up as the leader in mobile-first Web3 experiences.

With every new Seeker comes a soulbound Genesis Token that follows the Saga phone’s “Chapter 2” campaign, which had got some extra juice after the BONK airdrop. The latest model also ties in with the coming up AI and DePIN services, as a result, the device’s usefulness is being stretched beyond the usual mobile scope.

Solana’s mobile division continues to attract top talent, including social media entrepreneur Nikita Bier, now an advisor to the project. The release strategy suggests Solana is taking a long-term view toward Web3 user adoption, aiming to provide crypto utility at the hardware level
