$ENA 🇺🇸 The SEC has simplified accounting for stablecoins in the U.S.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued new guidance: some stablecoins can now be treated as cash equivalents.

🔴 Companies can report fully backed stablecoins (like USDC or USDP) on their balance sheets as “cash.”

🔴 This only applies to U.S. dollar-pegged tokens that are fully backed and redeemable for real dollars.

🔴 The tokens must be non-volatile — their price should remain stable.
