Hello Family👷‍♂️👷‍♀️ #ALGO #RoadMap2025

Algorand's new roadmap ($ALGO ) outlines the company's commitment to simplifying the blockchain user experience and enabling developers to create innovative solutions at scale, all based on Algorand's mature blockchain infrastructure.

The Foundation has launched its 2025+ roadmap, outlining a bold strategy to scale blockchain adoption in the real world. It focuses on four key areas: reaffirming Web3 core values, simplifying the blockchain user experience, accelerating market-driven innovation, and providing consistent protocol updates.

Roadmap Highlights

Here are the highlights of the roadmap presented by Algorand:

Project King Safety – A protocol economic model aimed at improving long-term sustainability and security of the network, with a launch expected by 2026.

xGov Governance – An on-chain governance framework, community-led, to manage grant allocation, with a launch expected in Q3 2025.

Algokit 4.0 – An updated toolkit for developers, optimized for AI-assisted coding and faster creation on Algorand. It includes composable smart contract libraries, an intuitive key-value store, and new SDKs including Rust, Swift, and Kotlin, with a launch expected in the first half of 2026.

Interlude – A suite of custody APIs based on HashiCorp Vault, allowing digital asset custodians to offer engaging Web 2.5 experiences.

Rocca Wallet – A redesign of a self-custody wallet, designed for non-technical users, based on a DID/VC framework. There will be a preview in Q4 2025 and a fully open-source and white-label version in the first half of 2026.

Agent Identity and Security Framework – A fundamental framework to ensure that artificial intelligence agents can be considered trustworthy to execute on-chain transactions with limited autonomy. The ASIF framework is part of a broader, developer-focused strategy regarding MCP, A2A, and X402, aimed at simplifying the creation of agent-based payment flows on Algorand.

Post-quantum account signatures – An innovation that integrates Algorand's Falcon-based state proofs to protect accounts from future quantum computing threats.
