In her statement, Pham noted that the CFTC will closely collaborate with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and its head, Paul Atkins. The key goal of the agency is to ensure regulatory clarity and support innovation.
Pham also highlighted that the CFTC will be working on Project Crypto. This is a similar initiative launched by the SEC following the publication of a report. We covered it in detail earlier.
The mentioned report was published at the end of July 2025. It outlines recommendations for regulating the crypto sphere, particularly a point on cooperation between the SEC and CFTC.
