Today let's talk about Succinct and why I have high hopes for it.

In conversations with many friends, I've found that we all share a common interest in a trend: Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK) are evolving from a mere scaling tool into the foundational computing layer of the entire Web3. In this space, Succinct is quietly building a truly underlying infrastructure in a way that's almost imperceptible.

What surprises me even more is the technology; Succinct's SP1 zkVM directly lowers the development barrier to the level of "writing business logic in Rust." This reminds me of how AWS transformed cloud computing from a geek's toy into a service that everyone can use—true disruption often comes from breakthroughs in usability.

Additionally, the economic model design of the $PROVE token is quite impressive: it is neither a simple gas token nor a governance token, but rather the "settlement layer" of the entire ZK proof network. This positioning reminds me of the narrative of ETH as the "world computer," opening up a new landscape. Currently protecting $4 billion in TVL is just the beginning; as new scenarios like AI + ZK emerge, the demand curve for Succinct's proof network is likely to be very steep.

I believe this sector is still in its early stages. However, I firmly believe that in the infrastructure domain, projects that address the "dirty and hard work" often end up smiling last. What Succinct is doing now may be paving the way for the large-scale application of ZK.
