Golden Finance reports that U.S. Representative Dina Titus has written to CFTC Acting Chair Caroline Pham, requesting an investigation into whether Chair nominee Brian Quintenz has violated regulatory policies and ethical standards. Titus questions whether Quintenz, during his tenure on the board of the prediction market company Kalshi, may have solicited non-public information or had conflicts of interest. Quintenz has stated that he will resign from the Kalshi board if confirmed. His Senate confirmation vote has been delayed twice.
