In what’s being called the biggest Bitcoin heist to date, a staggering 127,426 BTC was stolen in a highly coordinated cyberattack targeting the Chinese mining pool Lubian. At the time, the stolen crypto was worth around $3.5 billion. Today, it's valued at roughly $14.5 billion.
The individual behind the theft has now become the 13th largest holder of Bitcoin.
