Deep Tide TechFlow news, on August 4th, according to PeckShield monitoring, CrediX suffered a security breach today, with hackers exploiting a stolen administrator account that had multiple management privileges. This account had various permissions including fund pool management, cross-chain bridge, asset listing, and emergency disposal.

The attackers primarily utilized the cross-chain bridge (BRIDGE) permissions to carry out operations, resulting in a loss of approximately $4.5 million in fund pool assets, which included the minting of unsecured acUSDC tokens.

Previously, CrediX officials confirmed the security incident, stating that an investigation is underway and detailed information will be released as soon as possible.
