My journey in cryptocurrency trading has not been an easy one. When my account soared to 400,000, I considered myself a big player in the crypto world, quit my job to trade full-time, and even borrowed money to increase my position. However, when the financial crisis struck, I not only lost all my profits but also fell into debt, ultimately selling my house, and my husband almost left me. That dark moment made me realize that my previous successes were largely due to luck.
I awakened to the fact that if I wanted to go far in trading, I had to study diligently: mastering the basics, analyzing news, and researching technical indicators. Without in-depth research and proper planning, I would just be like a rootless retail investor, moving from joyfully entering to quietly exiting the market.
Here are some insights that might be useful:
1. Absolutely do not chase highs; how much it rises has nothing to do with me, maintain my rhythm.
2. The quality of a coin is only determined by the buying point; what is bought at the right point is a good coin, especially “high-quality coins” at significant buying points, patience is a mature mindset.
3. Mindset is fundamental. Even if I know it’s not a buying point but feel an urge, no theory will help.
4. Do not develop feelings for specific coins or points, only look at market signals. With solid technology and sufficient funds, it’s never too late to enter the market in batches.
5. Do not blame the market for mistakes, look for reasons within myself, and summarize each mistake immediately.
6. Being eager to make money is a big taboo. If I can't control my greed, it’s hard to stand firm in the market. Being swept away by bullish and bearish emotions prevents me from becoming a true trader.
7. Trading cryptocurrencies relies on long-term profits, not a single explosion. Think it through before buying, hold firmly, and sell decisively to improve. Remember, it's your trading; first manage yourself well.
8. The market only rewards the patient. Good coins need to be “nurtured”; constantly switching coins can only lead to small gains; focus is the key to making big money.
9. Dance to the rhythm of the market; if I step correctly, it will feel easy. Let go of greed and fear, and if I keep up with the rhythm, no one can stop me.
10. When playing with capital, patience is the most powerful asset. With a steady mindset and solid skills, patiently waiting, holding, and observing will allow me to overcome most people.
