Scammers list USDT at attractive prices on P2P. When the buyer transfers the money, they immediately cancel the order, rendering the transaction invalid in the system. The buyer loses money, does not receive coins, and cannot complain through Binance.
Risks:
– Money transferred, order canceled ⇒ Binance does not intervene
– Scammers disappear, users bear the loss
Prevention methods:
✅ Only transfer money when the order is in the status 'Waiting for the seller to release funds'
✅ Absolutely DO NOT send money if the order has been canceled
✅ Prioritize sellers with a gold tick and many positive reviews
✅ Stop immediately if you see any unusual signs (changing receiving accounts, forcing quick transfers...)
