Ripple ranks among the world’s top 25 largest private companies
San Francisco-based blockchain firm Ripple has been ranked as the 23rd largest private company in the world by valuation, according to data from CB Insights. The company is currently valued at $15 billion.
Ripple’s valuation places it above Klarna ($14.5 billion) and defense tech firm Anduril, backed by Palmer Luckey ($14 billion). Other notable names on the list include OpenSea (NFT marketplace), Bitmain (crypto mining hardware, $12 billion), and KuCoin exchange ($10 billion).
At the top of the list is Elon Musk’s SpaceX, valued at $350 billion, followed by ByteDance (TikTok) and OpenAI, each at $300 billion.
Although Ripple hinted at a potential IPO back in 2020, the company has no immediate plans to go public. President Monica Long stated that Ripple is not under pressure to raise capital, especially as its legal battle with the SEC appears to be nearing resolution.
