ETFs give and ETFs take away. After 20 consecutive days of inflows —positive capital inflows into these vehicles— Ethereum ETFs were halted , recording a loss of $152.3 million. This is a small amount compared to the enormous inflows of recent weeks, but still significant.

Bitcoin ETFs , however, are doing much worse, losing $ 812.3 million on Friday alone, with huge outflows especially from Fidelity and ARK – two high-profile funds but far from BlackRock's numbers and for which these outflows signal an even more significant movement.

BlackRock 's performance remains the best in the entire sector. Even in the face of a very challenging day for risk-friendly markets , the ETFs of the company led by Larry Fink actually show they still have the staying power.

💥Are they the institutional ones?

It depends on how you look at them. It's true that even small-scale investors trade through $IBIT and $ETHA, but BlackRock evidently absorbs their potential losses without much effort.

👉ARK, what's going on?

It's unclear who sold, but remember that ARK is directly owned by funds from the same manager, which end up constantly rebalancing, especially after reaching high prices. We'll see if we can learn more about these movements on Monday.
