This weekend, I took the honor of being listed among the top 100 on the Binance Square creator task platform and added it to my LinkedIn profile.
I also want to remind players that spending money in blockchain games, buying game NFTs and token assets is a high-risk investment behavior.
Buying tokens of blockchain games is equivalent to being tied to the entire product's market value, similar to investing in an early-stage startup. Whether you can recover your investment and the return on investment depends on how well this blockchain game team can elevate the product's market value in the future. If the project team is weak at any point, the game loses its popularity, the token price crashes to zero, or is cut in half, then the money players invested to buy tokens will be wasted.
Buying NFTs in blockchain games is even more complex. Everyone wants to buy low and sell high, but whether players can recover their investments in NFTs depends entirely on the project's operational settings, how to empower the NFTs. Is buying an NFT equivalent to obtaining a ticket to farm gold in the game, or does it mean becoming an early supporter who can directly receive airdrops of game tokens at TGE? How much they receive is usually determined by the project team, which will continuously modify these settings during the operation process. Players have very few opportunities to participate in decision-making. Additionally, it heavily relies on the game's popularity; if the game collapses with no new players joining and old players leaving, the NFTs become worthless.
Spending money on blockchain games is entirely different from spending on Web2 games. In traditional games, at the moment of spending, every player knows that this is a purchase of gaming entertainment services; once spent, it cannot be recovered, so players will be more restrained when spending.
I definitely won't do deceptive things like many mindless FOMO fans spending money to enter the market as Web3 KOLs. The posts I write about blockchain games are all based on my genuine analysis, as well as real data on earnings and losses after spending money in blockchain games. Please note, the blockchain games I play have also incurred losses, and I put this out as a caution.
