Ethereum’s Proof-of-Stake network is seeing major activity—both incoming and outgoing.
The exit queue is piling up fast, with about 559,412 ETH (around $1.93B) waiting to be withdrawn. At one point, that number peaked at 744,000 ETH. If you’re planning to unstake, expect a wait of nearly 10 days.
On the flip side, the network is still drawing in new stakers. Roughly 123,694 ETH (about $427M) are lined up to enter, with a 2-day wait for activation.
It’s a compelling split:
Some are cashing out after ETH’s 160% rebound since April, while others—backed by friendlier regulations and growing institutional interest—are increasing their positions. Companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion are steadily adding to their ETH stakes.
In short: it’s a classic battle between short-term profit-taking and long-term belief in Ethereum’s future.
