🇩🇪🇺🇸🇺🇦 Germany has agreed to deliver two additional Patriot defense systems to Ukraine, bringing the total number of systems provided to Ukraine to at least seven, excluding additional launcher units and missiles. The US has committed to backfilling Germany's stockpiles, ensuring Berlin receives new Patriot systems to replace those sent to Ukraine. Germany has already delivered three Patriot systems to Ukraine and will send two more. The US will provide Germany with new Patriot systems, which Berlin will fund, to replace those sent to Ukraine. Ukraine's air defense needs have grown more urgent due to Russia's intensified aerial attacks. Other countries, including the Netherlands, Romania, and Norway, have also pledged to provide Patriot systems or funding for Ukraine. Ukraine has secured funding for three Patriot systems and is working to finance seven more, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. The Patriot systems have proven effective in destroying Russian ballistic missiles aimed at Ukraine's cities. 🇩🇪🇺🇸🇺🇦
