Elastic Expansion of Node Resources Staked with WCT**
The WCT-staked nodes introduce an elastic expansion mechanism. When the connection request volume increases by more than 50%, the system automatically allocates temporary computing resources (such as cloud computing servers) for the nodes, which are released after the peak. Elastic expansion allows nodes to maintain stability during high-demand periods such as NFT sales and on-chain activities. During a popular event in 2025, the node's processing capacity was temporarily increased by three times, with no service interruptions. Node operators need to stake an additional 10% of tokens as a resource deposit to ensure the implementation of the guarantee mechanism, enabling the WCT-staked network services to have stronger pressure resistance.
