🤝 PAKISTAN & KYRGYZSTAN UNITE TO DRIVE BLOCKCHAIN INNOVATION

In a strategic move to accelerate blockchain adoption, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have initiated a new wave of crypto collaboration. A high-level virtual meeting was held this month between Pakistan’s Minister of State for Crypto & Blockchain, Bilal Bin Saqib, and Kyrgyzstan’s National Investment Agency Director, Farkhat Aminov.

Key outcomes of the discussion include:

• Joint development of virtual asset regulations

• Promotion of blockchain-based startups

• Exchange of digital finance expertise

• Research partnerships and pilot testing of blockchain solutions

Pakistan is pushing for a formal crypto cooperation MoU, marking a turning point in its regulatory evolution. The Pakistan Crypto Council—led by Finance Minister Aurangzeb and CEO Bilal Bin Saqib—is at the heart of this transformation.

Adding to the momentum, the 2025 Virtual Assets Ordinance, recently approved by former US President Donald Trump, establishes an independent crypto regulator in Pakistan—earning praise from Bitcoin advocate Michael Saylor.

Beyond blockchain, the two nations aim to boost bilateral trade to $100 million, enhance regional connectivity, and support joint infrastructure projects across transport and logistics.

A new frontier is emerging in Central and South Asia—and Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan are poised to lead it.
