Digital Asset Management Companies are Changing the Game on Wall Street, How is That

Publicly traded companies are re-evaluating their relationship with digital assets, as cryptocurrencies, especially stablecoins, are no longer seen merely as speculative bets, but instead are being used as an integral part of balance sheet strategies.

According to a recent report from Galaxy Research titled "The Rise of Digital Asset Management Companies," this phenomenon has become widespread, with these companies collectively holding over $100 billion in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other digital tokens.

Digital asset management companies are demonstrating new ways to raise capital, resorting to at-the-market (ATM) equity programs when their shares are trading at a premium, allowing them to gather more cryptocurrencies for every dollar.

Some companies also rely on private placements, PIPE deals, or even merging through SPACs to accelerate the accumulation of digital assets.
