Contract losses, altcoin explosions, yet still made 20 million
When I first entered the circle in 2017, I was only 29 years old, working in Guangdong for a salary of less than 5k a month, and after saving for a year, I managed to gather 30,000 to invest.
My first trade was in XRP, and I made five times my investment. At that time, I thought I had 'enlightened' myself. But then I went all in on some altcoin and got directly cut in half, left confused for half a year.
Over the years, I shifted from long-term to short-term trading, from believing in fundamentals to purely looking at K-lines, changing my style several times. Looking back, it was really just a continuous process of trial and error, constantly reviewing until I became stable.
Now my account has reached seven figures, and to be honest, I didn’t rely on insider information or cling to big players, but rather on three simple survival rules:
First: If you’re wrong, run; it’s not embarrassing to run fast.
I used to stubbornly hold on, always thinking 'it will come back.' Later, I realized that the market doesn’t care whether you are long or short, and it won’t listen to your 'faith.' If you’re wrong, you have to cut losses, without emotions, only rules.
Second: Don’t make emotional trades; if you’re feeling high, turn off the computer.
My biggest loss was after losing three trades in a row, being unwilling to accept it and trying to recover, which resulted in a liquidation. After that, I set a rule: if I’m wrong twice in a row, I forcibly take a break, turn off the computer, and lock my phone, not giving myself a chance to mess up.
Third: The market looks at discipline, not how smart you are.
I know a few friends who are technically very strong, but they all cleared out. It’s not that they can’t analyze; it’s that they have no rules. When luck is good, you can make money on anything, but when the wind changes, the first to fall are those without risk control.
Now the thing I’m most skilled at is: doing simple things well repeatedly, without adding drama, without performing.
Some say I’ve become Zen, but in fact, I’ve just engraved the words 'Stay Steady' into my trading system.
In this circle, if you want to win, it’s not about making 100 times profit on one trade, but about not crashing on 100 trades.
The crypto world is not short of opportunities; what’s lacking is you, who can survive. Keep going.
