#TrumpTariffs On Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order imposing tariffs ranging from 10% to 41% on American imports from dozens of countries and foreign sites, which will take effect on August 7, 2025, except for Canada, which will be subject to them today.
The tariffs mean that companies bringing foreign goods into the United States will have to pay taxes to the government, and experts say these companies may pass the costs on to consumers.
These tariffs are set at 25% on exports from India to the United States, 20% on exports from Taiwan, and 30% on exports from South Africa.
