2025.8.2 On-chain insights #以太坊 analysis article
Ethereum #ETF现货 net outflow: Farside Investors monitoring showed that yesterday the U.S. Bitcoin spot ETF had a net outflow of $812.3 million, setting a historical record for the second highest single-day net outflow, marking the highest net outflow day in nearly 5 months.
In addition, yesterday there was a net outflow of $152.3 million from the U.S. Ethereum spot ETF, setting a historical record for the third highest net outflow.

Now looking at the mainstream coin K-line

#比特币 dropped directly from about $117,300 to just now the lowest point near $113,000, which can be said to have fallen over $4,000 within a trading day.
The entire #以太坊 has also dropped sharply, basically falling from nearly $3800 directly to $3500, and at its lowest point it even broke below $3500, so the overall pullback today has also been significant, dropping about 5 points directly.
Regarding Ethereum, my personal strategy is:
Still holding onto Ethereum's spot; if it drops, just continue to average down, and if it rises, just continue to feel comfortable.
If Ethereum wants to truly become an asset favored by the entire U.S. capital like Bitcoin, it needs to experience a few rapid declines, and then after those rapid declines, see if anyone is willing to buy in, which can allow it to rebound quickly. Going back and forth a few times may make it follow the overall trends related to Bitcoin.
If you look at the Bitcoin weekly chart, you can find that its rise did not happen all at once.
From the increase in October 2023, there was a period of consolidation in December, before continuing to rise, with ups and downs in between.
Similarly, the entire Ethereum will definitely be in a similar state, so I think everyone really doesn't need to be anxious. If it drops, just continue to buy; if it continues to rise, just continue to feel comfortable.
Including the entire BlackRock, the current holdings of Ethereum have reached 3 million, and in the past month, they should have bought close to over 1 million, so the overall institutional accumulation of Ethereum has not changed.
However, I saw some remarks about Ethereum today, saying that this flywheel is no longer working, because stocks like BMNR and SharpLink have been continuously plummeting over the past week. But what I want to say is that the increase in the price of $ETH still depends on whether institutions are willing to buy into the narrative of this so-called stablecoin in the U.S. If they are willing to buy into the stablecoin narrative, then Ethereum will certainly continue to be purchased. I really don't think we need to panic over some short-term fluctuations.
