The new listing standards set by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) require that cryptocurrencies have futures trading for at least six months.
Qualified assets include XRP, Solana, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Avalanche, Polkadot, Chainlink, Stellar, Cardano, and Hedera.
XRP and other altcoin exchange-traded funds are expected to be approved between September and October 2025, based on current regulatory filings.
