On August 1st, reporters from a Japanese news website went to the subway station where a Japanese mother and child were attacked to cover the story, encountering subway staff and two suspected passersby who reported to the police.

After discovering they were Japanese, the police began to contact via walkie-talkie and quickly left.

The staff requested no filming, but the reporters did not heed the request.
