On August 2, according to official information, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that a special task force on crypto will visit several cities across the United States in the coming months, organizing a series of roundtable meetings aimed at providing an opportunity for direct exchange with SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce for more stakeholders in the crypto field. This initiative particularly welcomes representatives from crypto startup projects with fewer than 10 employees and established for less than two years, to ensure that regulatory policy development is more comprehensive and diverse.

Commissioner Peirce stated that she hopes to hear the voices of those unable to attend the roundtable meeting in Washington this spring, emphasizing that the regulatory framework will have far-reaching impacts on the industry, and the SEC hopes to achieve a more comprehensive outreach through broad communication.

Project representatives intending to participate may submit registration applications via email, outlining their team structure and introducing their project, while specifying the city they wish to attend. The SEC intends to publish a list of participating projects to promote public dialogue, transparency, and public engagement. This series of roundtable meetings is considered a key step by the SEC to promote openness and inclusivity in crypto regulatory policy.
