USA đșđž - INDIA đźđł : INDIA SAYS NO TO AMERICAN F-35 FIGHTER JETS AND CHOOSES TO MANUFACTURE ITS OWN AIRCRAFT.
India has clearly told the United States that it does not want to buy their F-35 fighter jets. Why? Because the Indian government, led by Narendra Modi, prefers to develop its own military industry rather than purchase very expensive weapons from abroad. The idea is to manufacture the aircraft and equipment in India, with foreign partners if needed, but while maintaining control. This allows India to become stronger and less dependent on other countries.
At the same time, American President Donald Trump has decided to tax Indian products at 25% starting August 1st. Why this decision? Because India remains an important ally of Russia, despite the war in Ukraine. Trump accuses India of several things:
- It buys a lot of oil and weapons from Russia.
- It imposes high tariffs on American products.
- It does not support efforts to stop the war in Ukraine enough.
In addition to this tax, the United States is preparing another punishment, but it is not yet known what it will be.
So, does India have the right to refuse the F-35s and support Russia?
On one hand, manufacturing its own weapons makes India more independent and creates jobs. But will its aircraft be as effective as the American F-35s? On the other hand, is it fair for the United States to punish India for its relations with Russia? Does India have the right to choose its friends? What do you think?
Let me know what you think! Don't leave without liking and sharing your opinion in the comments! It's always with great pleasure.
