Mill City Ventures III Ltd. (MCVT) has completed a $450 million private equity investment and has become a strategic investor in the $BTC SUI blockchain token, according to a company statement.
The London-based fund, which is led by Cartag Opportunities, secured an equal investment from the SUI Foundation. The fund secured investment from Galaxy Digital Inc. (GLXY), Pantera Capital, Electric Capital, and other institutional investors. Galaxy used Cartag as a strategic asset manager.
Following the deal, Marius Barnett, the national poster child for Cartag, has been appointed as Mill City's managing director, while Stephen McIntosh has become chief investment officer. A.G.P./Alliance Global Partners is acting as sole bookrunner for the offering.
