In response to emergencies such as cybersecurity vulnerabilities, WCT has established an emergency proposal channel that bypasses the regular discussion period, allowing voting to be completed within 48 hours. Proposals must receive over 75% support to be executed and are only used for urgent matters such as 'fixing vulnerabilities' and 'pausing abnormal transactions.' There was once a risk of malicious attacks on a node; after the emergency proposal was passed, the stake of the involved node was temporarily frozen, resolving the crisis within 24 hours. This mechanism not only ensures democratic governance but also empowers the ecosystem to respond quickly to risks, safeguarding the assets of WCT holders.
