The first round of 18.5% WCT airdrop covered 130,000 users. Tracking data shows a retention rate of 45% (i.e., 60,000 users are still active in the ecosystem). Among these users, 30% participated in staking, and 15% joined governance voting, becoming the core group of the ecosystem. The high retention rate is due to continuous operations after the airdrop: pushing exclusive tutorials to airdrop users and inviting them to test new features. The average holding of retained users is twice that of new users, and their activity directly drives the market liquidity of WCT, confirming the effectiveness of the airdrop strategy in user retention.
