The Arena-Z game, formerly known as League of Kingdoms, has officially changed its name to become a comprehensive gaming-based platform. This change provides a variety of strategic changes, such as a new token (A2Z), several new game titles, and a $20 million fund to accelerate ecosystem growth.

During the renewal process, Arena-Z will have a franchise system that enables it to continue with different names for the game. This includes two new additions, LOK Chronicle and LOK Hunters, both in the beta stage and set to be available for the original game by the end of the quarter. This integration will allow players to maintain their digital identity, digital assets, and achievements across all three games.

This transition will mark a qualitative leap in the growth of independent blockchain games to an integrated Web3 franchise system. Player behavior in one game can now affect their performance in the Arena-Z environment. To support this model, Arena-Z has launched a $20 million ecosystem grant program, which will be funded through staking and treasury reserves. The founding partners already include XOCIETY, Pebble City, and The New Order (TNO).

One of the factors in the brand renewal is changing the LOKA token to A2Z. The token exchange rate will be 1:20. A2Z retains all the previous features of LOKA and introduces a shared tool for titles, including enhancement, rewards, and decentralized rules. Both Binance and HTX have announced their support for the transition to A2Z, and it is likely that other trading platforms will add their support. The official exchange portal will launch on July 28 at 03:00 UTC.

Arena-Z has also become the first second-level gaming chain within the OP Superchain, and it remains the only Korean gaming infrastructure supported by the Binance and Coinbase platforms. The imminent global expansion of Arena-Z, thanks to its recent strategic partnership with one of the largest game publishing companies in Korea, NHN, reflects the significant institutional support it enjoys.

To enhance the platform's depth, Arena-Z will introduce the AZZY system, a companion digital system that reflects user activity and interaction throughout the ecosystem. AZZY has been developed in an interactive way and will be available in its first release at launch on the Arena-Z website.

League of Kingdoms was released in 2020 and was one of the first blockchain games to expand its reach to a global audience, peaking at 150,000 daily active users across more than 210 countries. Notable investors in the project include a16z crypto, Hashed, YZi Labs (formerly known as Binance Labs), Peak XV Partners (formerly known as Sequoia Capital), YGG, and others.
